Bui Power Authority has achieved notable recognition at the 4th edition of the National Governance and Business Leadership Awards, held on July 27, 2024, at the Marriot Hotel in Accra. The Governance and Business Boardroom honored BPA with two prestigious awards: Exemplary Public Sector CEO of the Year, awarded to the CEO, Hon. Ing. Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi, and the CSR Impact Award, reflecting the Authority’s strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
The National Governance and Business Leadership Awards celebrate leaders who demonstrate exceptional dedication, strategic insight, and commitment to excellence.
Hon. Ing. Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamezi’s recognition as Exemplary Public Sector CEO of the Year underscores his strategic vision and leadership in guiding BPA to new heights. His leadership has been pivotal in executing impactful projects that align with BPA’s mission to foster sustainable development.
In 2024, BPA has also embarked on several noteworthy CSR projects, justifying the CSR Impact Award. Among these initiatives are the commissioning of a six-classroom unit at Anloga-Avete D.A Basic School, the donation of learning materials to schools in the neighboring communities within the Bui enclave and the commissioning of a forward operating base for the military in Bui, amongst others.
These projects are a proof of BPA’s dedication to community development and its proactive approach to addressing local needs.
