BPA GREEN ENERGY ACADEMY
The Bui Power Authority began to run its private school, BPA Green Energy Academy, in Jama New Town. The Academy seeks to nurture responsible global leaders who will be sensitive to the environment and society. The Academy is committed to instilling academic excellence, honesty, objectivity and integrity in all activities.
The Academy currently has a population of 47 pupils. The classes operating at the moment are:
- Creche
- Nursery One
- Nursery Two
- Kindergarten One
- Kindergarten Two
- Grade One
The teaching syllabus used in providing pupils with basic education is in accordance with the approved Ghana Education syllabus. The school also makes use of the resources of the Fred Oware Innovation Center, giving the students an important opportunity to familiarize with science and technology early in their formative years.
