Bui Power Authority has the mandate to ensure the smooth resettlement of 1216 affected people whose settlements and farmlands were inundated by the formation of the Reservoir. Acknowledging the sacrifices and contributions of the now resettled communities, the Authority, through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy, will seek to strengthen the existing partnership with the communities by prioritising and supporting the communities in the implementation of its Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
In addition, the Authority through this policy, will commit to supporting the communities located in Savanah, Bono, and Bono East Regions that are within the Bui Hydroelectric Project Acquired Lands and support Government of Ghana initiatives and causes of national interest under the CSR budget.
