Hon. Paul Twum-Barimah is a Ghanaian Politician and the Member of Parliament for Dormaa East Constituency in the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic. He previously served on the Foreign Affairs, Special Budget, and Poverty Reduction Strategy Committees and is currently serving on the Mines and Energy and Privileges Committee.

Hon. Twum-Barimah’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Information Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from the Robert Gordon University in Scotland. To enhance his expertise in the energy sector, he obtained a Certificate in Oil, Gas, and Petroleum Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, UK.

With a diverse range of qualifications, Hon. Twum-Barimah possesses a well-rounded understanding of various fields, including sociology, information studies, corporate governance, and law.

Hon. Paul Twum-Barimah was appointed a Board Member of Bui Power Authority by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on 3rd September 2021.
