The Bui Power Authority (BPA) on March 27, 2026, marked the climax of its Ghana Month celebration with an event that brought together culture and staff recognition. Held simultaneously at the Bui Generating Station (BGS) and in Accra, the occasion also honoured departmental star performers for 2025 across the Authority.

The Deputy CEO, Ing. Samuel Nimako-Boateng, speaking on behalf of the Ag. CEO, highlighted the importance of celebrating Ghanaian culture alongside staff contributions to the Authority’s mandate. He noted that the month-long celebration fostered cultural pride while reinforcing BPA’s role in national development through reliable energy delivery.

He commended staff for their dedication and professionalism, describing the awards as recognition of excellence and service, and encouraged continued high performance.

The event featured staff dressed in traditional attire such as Fugu and Kente, with cultural dance performances reflecting Ghana’s diversity. Overall, it provided an opportunity to celebrate both cultural identity and staff achievements across the Authority.
